Ruby Plumridge
Education Consultant
Ruby joined Simply Learning Tuition in January 2024. With a degree in Psychology in Education from York, Ruby brings a wealth of academic and practical experience; from roles spanning emotional support in schools to nursery management and the analysis of strategic data-driven research in education. These practical experiences, along with her degree, have given Ruby an holistic introduction to child development and has demonstrated to her the importance of valuing each child as a unique individual.
Ruby’s interest in education started when, as Head of School, she was encouraged to reflect on her own learning experience. She attended a small independent school in Oxfordshire, where she feels fortunate to have benefitted from small class sizes and one to one support from teachers. She now hopes to play a part in ensuring that children enjoy school, and education, as much as she did.
In her role as Education Consultant, Ruby works closely with families to advise on school and university placements for their children. Ruby’s dedication to education and her ability to communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds make her a valuable asset to our team.
