Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (Autism and Women)
Meredith Husen is a practising psychotherapeutic counsellor for women, an autistic teacher, private tutor, and a child counsellor in training (with Place2Be).
After graduating with a degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Sussex, Meredith worked as a teacher, predominantly in primary education. She has over 11 years of experience in this field, and in-depth experience of working with SEND children, especially in Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. Meredith is also qualified to teach mindfulness to children with Calm For Kids.
Her training is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and Meredith is registered with the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society). She holds a diploma in integrative transpersonal counselling from Re-Vision, which is an established and innovative training centre for counselling and psychotherapy. Transpersonal Counselling is a holistic training model which incorporates mind, body, spirit and soul, and in Meredith’s practice, utilises an integrative approach to best suit the women with whom she works.
