Alison Melrose
Director of Client Engagement
Alison Melrose is Director of Client Engagement at Simply Learning Tuition, bringing over 30 years’ experience in education and school leadership. She joined SLT following a successful career in independent education, most recently as Headmistress of Cameron Vale School in Chelsea, IAPS and ISA member and ISI inspector.
Throughout her career, Alison has worked across a range of London schools, progressing from classroom teaching to senior leadership and headship. She has extensive experience supporting children and families through key educational stages and transitions, with particular strengths in curriculum development, pastoral care, admissions guidance, and safeguarding. Alison has also contributed at board level, including serving as a school governor.
In her role at Simply Learning Tuition, Alison works closely with families and tutors to ensure high-quality, personalised support. She is passionate about building strong relationships and helping every child develop confidence and achieve their full academic potential.
