Thomas’s Fulham is one of the independent co-educational day schools which have all sprung from the kindergarten started in 1971 by Joanna Thomas who needed a good school for her own children. Many parents feel the same now, the schools are still run by the family, but there are 4 prep schools , a kindergarten and since, 2019 a senior school.

Thomas’s Fulham is situated at 49 Hugon Road and has pupils from 4 to 11 years old. The head, Annette Dobson, says that each member of her staff has “an exuberance for 21st Century problem-solving, social responsibility and a belief in endless possibilities.” Children can be registered from soon after birth for the kindergarten but later on entry is selective. Support for financially constrained children may be given by the Thomas’s Schools Foundation.
