We are proud of our long history – the school was founded in 1928 – and offers a holistic education from 3-11 in a co-educational setting. Our classic red brick building with a beautiful playground and outside space is a gem within bustling Chelsea. Tucked just off of the King’s Road we are perfectly placed to benefit from a central location, whilst also a stone’s throw from the green space of Battersea Park.

Notable Academic Facilities

Our ambition is to develop in each pupil an enquiring mind and a life-long love of learning. Through enthusiastic, inspiring teaching, excellent resources, and a broad and balanced curriculum, pupils are well prepared not merely for the demands of senior school entrance examinations, but also for a rich and fulfilling future.

Our five school Core Values of Community, Resilience, Excellence, Responsibility and Respect enhance academic and pastoral care, and enable the pupils to take ownership of their learning. Specialist teachers for PE, sport, dancing, art, music, drama, French and ICT enhance the pupil’s daily learning. Many lessons at Pre-Prep level include hands-on and enquiry-based learning. Pupils are encouraged and praised as they master new and more complex concepts.
