Specialist teachers for PE, sport, dancing, art, music, drama, French and ICT enhance the pupil’s daily learning. Many lessons at Pre-Prep level include hands-on and enquiry-based learning. Pupils are encouraged and praised as they master new and more complex concepts.

At The Hampshire School Chelsea, we ensure our children are provided equal,
inclusive opportunities to participate in a variety of activities through our PE
curriculum that is progressive, engaging and fun. We make the most of the
numerous excellent local sporting facilities including St. Lukes, Battersea Park,
Chelsea Swimming Pool and Latchmere Leisure Centre.

Music

At The Hampshire School Chelsea, the arts and music form a vital part of the curriculum, supporting the development of all-around skills from a young age.

We are a school rooted in the performing arts. With our extraordinary heritage as a school founded by the celebrated acting dynasty of the Hampshire family, performing arts continue to play a meaningful role at the school in nurturing essential life and creative skills. This is achieved through our timetabled drama, music and singing lessons, poetry recitals, music concerts and Chelsea Ballet lessons.
