A co-educational independent school for children aged from 3 to 11, Rosemary Works School is located by the Regents Canal on the Islington and Hackney border. Extra-curricular activities at the school extend into some pupils’ success in external competitions, such as in swimming, cycling, gymnastics, Trinity College music theory examinations, art scholarships; and an award at a regional ISA (Independent Schools Association) competition for a stop-motion animation.

Students predominantly enter into Pre-School Nursery aged 3, and into the Reception Class at age 4. Children already in the Rosemary Works Early Years Center (EYC) are guaranteed a place in the Nursery Class, and are available for new families who wish to join the primary school. For entry into the Reception Class, places are first allocated to children currently in the Nursery Class and the EYC, as well as siblings of current students at Rosemary Works, and are then offered on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis. There is a waiting list – registration is advised at the earliest opportunity. School entries for Year One and above are standard.

Rosemary Works Pupils have been offered places at schools such as Norwich School, Dulwich College and Bancroft’s School having successfully completed their entrance and scholarship exams.
