High level of pastoral care and from year 6 each boy has his own tutor with whom he meets regularly to discuss all matters of school life.

Advice For Parents

Ideally parents should make contact as soon as they start their search for a prep school. To get a feel of the school attendance at an Open Morning (these are held termly) is ideal when their son is very young, but for a place offer an individual visit is offered with the Headmaster in order that he may get to know the boy's character and chat with him in order to be able to offer a place. It is advisable to register as soon as possible after visit as places are allocated in strict order of registration and then confirmation is required one year before the start date.

We are fortunate in having a purpose built Music School which consists of a large teaching room, a fully equipped Music Technology suite with 20 Apple Mac computers and midi keyboards with notation and sequencing software, twelve practice rooms all with new Yamaha or Weber pianos, a designated drum room, and a library. There is a two manual and pedal pipe organ in the Chapel and a Yamaha grand piano in the school hall.
