More House School is a Gem in the heart of Knightsbridge. Our small class sizes provide the ideal environment for academic rigour whilst meeting the learning needs of each individual. Our outstanding pastoral care enables our girls to flourish in a nurturing environment that recognises and cherishes the whole person.
More House is a green house and not a hot house.

Notable Academic Facilities

Enviably small class sizes and A level classes running with a minimum of 2 girls giving students more individual attention.

Wellbeing & Pastoral Care

As the school is smaller than many in London we know each girl individually and pastoral care was deemed in our recent inspection report as 'excellent'. We regularly hold wellbeing talks for both the girls and their parents on issues such as anxiety, eating disorders, screen time and health and fitness. We have an entire wellbeing week each year which is dedicated to just that.

Advice For Parents

Please can parents get in touch when their daughter is in Year 4 and arrange a summer tour and then again in the autumn of her being in Year 5.

Typical Child

Our school has small classes sizes and is very nurturing with excellent pastoral care. It would suit a child that thrives in this environment.

Highly Regarded For

At More House, we are committed to finding the right path for every girl. No two journeys are the same and we pride ourselves in that individual care. As educators of girls, we are here to prepare them for their futures as leaders and to help them embrace the challenges of an ever-changing world. It is this vital nurturing of the individual that generates young women confident and creative enough to channel their strengths and be agents of change.

Notable Points

We have a full time SENCO and learning support teacher, and other part time staff including an additional learning support teacher, a speech and language therapist, school counsellor, educational psychiatrist and occupational therapist.

Leavers' Attainment

In 2021 82% of girls received A* to B grades and 51% received A* to A with 95% of them going off to their first choice university.

Leavers' Destinations

Our girls go on to a range of university destinations which are listed on our sixth form page and these include some of the top universities in UK including Durham, Kings College London, Bath, Imperial College London, St Andrews and Exeter. The majority of girls receive offers from their first choice universities.
