Grimsdell Pre Prep, Belmont Prep School and Mill Hill School are three separate entities, all on the same site, and all part of the Mill Hill School Foundation. The schools are on 120 acres of beautiful parkland with a countryside feel, despite being less than 10 miles from central London. Grimsdell Pre Prep, Belmont Prep and Mill Hill School are for boys and girls aged 3 to 7, 7 to 13 and 13 to 18 respectively. There is a seamless transition between the three schools. The Mill Hill School Foundation offers an academically rigorous programme which is designed to engage the pupils and instil a love of learning. Pupils tend to be effective, aspirational and self-motivated learners. The school adopts an active learning approach where pupils are encouraged to ask questions and think critically. Pupils tend to become independent and have confidence to share their ideas and opinions, and learn to listen. Sport is a huge part of the day to day life at The Mill Hill School Foundation. The sporting facilities, set in stunning landscaped grounds, are excellent. Every week over 50 matches take place in various sports and teams across the school and pupils have weekly timetabled lessons in PE and Games. Art, Drama and Music are also promoted by the school, with many opportunities to become involved in school plays and musical groups and bands. The involvement of pupils in the many extracurricular clubs they offer is actively encouraged. The education received by pupils at the Mill Hill Foundation Schools is one that is all-rounded and highly stimulating.
