Located in West London, Kew House School is a co-educational, independent senior school for pupils aged 11-18 years. We are a modern and innovative school, yet we reflect many of the traditions and values established over the past thirty years within the Gardener Schools Group.

Notable Academic Facilities

Kew House School is equipped with modern, cutting-edge facilities including: multiple science laboratories, music suites, a computing laboratory, theatre, food technology room, Design and Technology suite, Computer Aided Design (CAD) suite, art studio, library and Sixth Form Independent Learning Centre (ILC). We provide a rich and broad education to all pupils whatever their specialism, pursuing excellence in all areas whether examinable or not. In 2021, our A Level pass rate was 100%.

Wellbeing & Pastoral Care

We aim to develop the feeling of a family and social hub at Kew House School, giving emotional support and security to all pupils and employees. Each pupil receives individual attention both educationally and pastorally. Children and young adults thrive when their self-esteem is bolstered and confidence enables them to flourish. Our approach is holistic as we believe that there can be no artificial barriers between a pupil's intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth. A number of staff are involved in the life of each pupil, but, in particular, the Personal Tutor, who meets their tutee on a daily basis, stays the same staff member throughout the pupil’s seven years with us.

Advice For Parents

We encourage parents to register for Kew House as soon as possible.

Typical Child

Kew House School seeks to recruit intelligent pupils with a confident sense of identity and an original approach to learning, problem solving and creativity. We welcome pupils with varying academic profiles, searching out and encouraging the individual abilities of each child while placing emphasis on confidence, self-esteem and creativity. Each year group is selected as a cohort, in which children with different aptitudes and personalities will inspire and support each other.

Highly Regarded For

In September 2017, Kew House opened a brand new Sixth Form Centre which benefits from a beautifully designed independent learning centre on the ground floor. Facilities include a Sixth Form Cafe, library, roof terrace, audio-visual suite, recording studio and Sixth Form seminar rooms. Following an inspection of the school in February 2018 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), Kew House was particularly delighted to learn from the lead inspector that the results of the student and parent questionnaires were the most positive they had ever seen.
