Kensington Park School is an academically selective, co-educational, day and boarding school for students aged 11 to 18. Split across two buildings on either side of Kensington Gardens, KPS offers students access to outstanding educational, cultural, and sporting facilities in the heart of cosmopolitan central London. Our boarding house, located in Earl’s Court, offers A Level students an exceptional standard of accommodation, just a 15 minute walk away from the Sixth Form.

Notable Academic Facilities

Small class sizes ensure that our teachers are able to foster the individual interests and talents of our students within the formal curriculum, giving additional support, or further stretch and challenge as required.

Wellbeing & Pastoral Care

Outstanding pastoral care is at the very heart of KPS, and extends into every aspect of school life. As a small school, all pupils at KPS are individually known, yet there is also a strong sense of community and interconnectedness across year groups which stems from our established tutor and house systems. Horizontal tutor groups in Years 7 and 8 help students forge lasting friendships within their year group, whilst vertical, mixed tutor groups in Years 9 to 11 and Years 12 to 13 allow students to watch and learn from older peers as they approach their final GCSE and A Level years. The KPS House system further fosters a supportive and stable community within the School, upholding our values and allowing students to build connections across year groups. Our on-site school nurse, whom all students have access to, and experienced house parents in the boarding house, work closely with the academic team to ensure students’ health and wellbeing and provide an integrated system of support.

Advice For Parents

We offer Open Evenings throughout the autumn term - we encourage families to attend these or arrange a private tour before making an application.

Typical Child

Whist there is no single 'typical' KPS student, we welcome applications from those who are curious, academically bright, keen to learn and excited by the idea of studying in a cosmopolitan, small & friendly school.
