Hurlingham School is an independent, co-educational prep school in London for children aged 2-11. The school was founded in 1947, and comprises a Nursery and Prep School, set across two adjacent sites. Hurlingham asserts their ethos as being ‘to provide a happy, secure atmosphere in which children can be the best that they can be.’

Co-curricular clubs for pupils from Year 1 upwards include Gardening, Chess and Choir. As the children progress through the school, these activities extend to include Engineering, Touch-Typing and Multi-Sports.

The Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, with additional enrichment and activities of ‘music, multisport, drama, yoga, Spanish, gymnastics, dance and cooking’. The Prep School follows a broad and balanced curriculum, and Hurlingham is careful to familiarise its pupils with assessments in preparation for their 11 plus examinations. Leavers’ destinations include Godolphin and Latymer, Alleyn’s and Whitgift, amongst other competitive and prestigious senior schools.
