This independent school integrates the day students into the boarding houses allowing for a more supportive community feel in which everyone is welcome. Haileybury is an academically selective school and provides in turn, as they present,  ‘a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership’.

Co-curricular activities include Model United Nations, Climbing, and Film Making. Sports is central to Haileybury, and there are a vast array available for pupils, such as Rackets, Lacrosse, Golf, Dance and Basketball. Music and Drama are also well attended throughout the school, and present a multitude of co- (and extra-) curricular opportunities for Haileybury students to enrich their education and progress with, past secondary education.

Sixth Form students may choose between the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), or A-Levels for which a series of Academic Electives are offered, to complement their studies, and enable students to specialise in areas they are particularly interested in.
