Adjacent to Regent’s Park, and comprising one of the three Girls’ Schools founded by the Reverend Canon Francis Holland in 1878, is Francis Holland Regent’s Park. It is an independent day school for girls aged 11-18. Its core values are Knowledge, Compassion, Spirit, and Perseverance which, as Head Katharine Woodcock asserts, ‘underpin the ethos of the School, empowering the girls to be bold, ambitious and free from the shackles of perfectionism.’ It is a Church of England school, but welcomes pupils from all cultures and traditions.

Francis Holland Regent’s Park is academically selective, and places are competitive. Registration for 11+ entry is recommended as being completed early, and prospective students must then complete the London 11+ Consortium Assessment, along with an interview and reference from the student’s current Head. For Sixth Form applicants, entry comprises entrance exam papers in their proposed A Level Subjects and an interview, and similarly necessitates a reference from their current Head. Means-tested bursaries are available, and typically offered at Year 7 and on entry to Sixth Form. There are Scholarships offered for both Year 7 and Sixth Form in Academics, Music, and Art, and a Sports scholarship is available for 13+ and the Sixth Form.
