Located on the boundaries of both Hyde Park and Kensington Park lie the two sites which comprise Ashbourne College; an independent, co-educational day school for students aged 15-19. It is highly academically selective, and prospective students are selected following both an interview and academic assessments.

The school’s location allows for a walk to many cultural venues and attractions such as major libraries, galleries and theatres, alongside the Natural History Museum, the Royal Albert Hall and the Science Museum. Extracurriculars range from chess and Bollywood dancing, to meditation and astro-particle physics. One particular feature is the Ashbourne Allstars Football Club, who train at a nearby sports pitch. The Ashbourne Revue is particularly popular amongst staff and students, showcasing creative talents such as fashion, music, drama and dance.

Class sizes are fairly small, allowing students to explore and test their ideas in a more encouraging setting, where they can have one-on-one interaction with the teacher. Greater individual feedback and attention between staff and students are also beneficial from this format. Personal tutors are responsible for collaborating with the student on the entire university application process, and monitoring their progression throughout Ashbourne.

In 2022 56% of Ashbourne students accomplished A*A, 81% at A*AB, and 92% at A*ABC. Graduates progress onto several Russell-Group universities, the most popular of which being University College London (UCL), though also including Oxbridge, Durham and Imperial.
