Meet A Typical Geography Tutor

Philip

After graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in Geography, Philip went on to complete a PCGE in Secondary Geography at the Institute of Education. Since then, he has worked as a Geography teacher at one of London’s leading independent schools, building up eight years of classroom teaching experience. Philip tutors all levels of secondary Geography. He is well versed in the main Geography exam boards, including both the GCSE and IGCSE, gaining a good insight through his experiences in marking exam papers. Despite this, he “does not believe that a pupil should be taught to pass an examination”, hoping instead to develop the student’s active interest in the topic.
