Simply Learning Tuition, introducing you to the best private tutors.

Finding the right tutor

We are far more selective than most agencies. Every tutor we work with has an enhanced DBS check, provided two outstanding references and has passed a rigorous interview process during which they demonstrate exactly how they teach. They all have a proven track record as tutors, a glowing academic background, an infectious passion for their subject and, above all, have the empathy and care to connect with your child. As a rough guide, we work with about 7% of the tutors who apply to us.

A personal relationship

It is not only their excellent academic backgrounds, years of teaching experience (we have a minimum requirement of 100 hours of tutoring experience) and inspiring passion that sets the tutors we introduce apart from the mainstream, but also the strong relationships we have formed with them over the years. We take care to get to know each tutor personally – from their teaching style and the type of students they work best with, to their hobbies and interests. This is a crucial part of our personalised matching service.

After we have discussed your family’s schooling aspirations and your son or daughter’s academic requirements in detail, we recommend a shortlist of tutors who will be precisely the right fit. You then make the final choice, guided by our knowledge of each tutor.
