UK, Swiss and Saudi school placement and relocation for a Saudi family

Background

Our clients, a Saudi family relocating from Riyadh to London, first came to us in 2021. They required expert UK school placement support for their three children in Years 2, 6 and 9, alongside ongoing academic and pastoral provision. Our role was to manage the full educational transition initially to the UK and then to Switzerland and back to Saudi.

SLT’s Approach

UK School Placement, Cultural Integration and Tuition Support (2021)

In 2021, we secured suitable UK school placements in London day schools for children entering Year 9, Year 6 and Year 2. To support their transition into British schools, we provided English and Maths tuition and worked closely with SENCOs and teaching staff as each child’s learning needs became clearer.

Targeted SEN support in UK schools was introduced for ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. We introduced in-class support for the youngest child and daily after-school tuition for the eldest son. Academic mentoring focused on confidence building, executive functioning and study skills. We organised sports activities and cultural immersion to support wellbeing.

Swiss Boarding School Placement (2023)

In 2023, as the eldest child approached his final school year, we supported the family with international boarding school options, securing offers from three leading Swiss schools. We continued to liaise with his new school throughout preparation for his final exams.

UK to Saudi Relocation (2025)

When the family later relocated back to Saudi Arabia in 2025, we once again managed school placements and ongoing provision of support. This included online tuition for the older children and the sourcing of a full-time shadow teacher for the youngest child.

 

Results

Across multiple locations and school systems including UK, Saudi, US and IB, we supported a family for over six years of their children’s schooling. Each child has seen a protracted increase in confidence and attainment and have been able to embrace the challenges and opportunities afforded by each move.

This case study demonstrates our expertise in long term UK and international school placement for families, alongside long-term educational relocation support. Through tailored placements, SEN provision and academic tutoring, we enabled the children to thrive across multiple education systems.
