    Background

Our client was a high profile fashion designer whose daughter suffered from acute anxiety and dyslexia. As a result, she frequently missed school and was falling behind in her GCSEs.

We introduced four tutors who worked closely with the girl’s mother, psychiatrist and counsellor to reinstall confidence and engagement in school work. They made use of practical learning aids such as clothes-making and cooking to teach the core concepts of each GCSE subject. As the girl blossomed from their attention, she grew in confidence and started to attend school for a few days a week. She completed her GCSEs at school and then we introduced her to a liberal Sixth Form college in London, where she enjoyed studying Art.
