Background
Our client was a student, who we had previously helped with GCSE tuition. She had worked extremely hard and achieved AAB at A-Level but did not meet the admissions requirements of her dream course at Oxford University.
Results
We introduced tutors to help the student bring up their grades to A*A*A in one year. Alongside the academics we helped them build confidence through work experience relevant for their chosen course. We helped them to prepare a more effective personal statement and to visit and write directly to the Oxford department they were applying to. She was accepted the following year and has since completed a Master’s, also at Oxford.
