Despite everyone's best efforts, sometimes children just don't succeed at school. A period of one to one home schooling will often quickly improve results: opening the door for reintegration or a new start at a different school. Our tutors in London can teach the main syllabuses at all ages, creating an individual learning plan that provides a complete focus on your child's needs and teaches at her pace.
Timetables will always be built around the child's existing needs but a typical day at home school is illustrated here.

More Information
Lessons last 40 minutes for 'theory heavy' subjects, longer if the pace of work is lighter. Breaks are taken frequently to keep interest and energy levels high. Typically, Maths and English are taught in the mornings, with the afternoons rotating through Humanities, Languages and Science.
Our home-school tutors are based in London but can cover all areas. They are all thoroughly trained; some are PGCE qualified but our main requirement is a strong academic background and the ability to teach and inspire. Our tutors are trained to think out of the box and results improve quickly.
Physical activity is an important part of a child's development. We will supply specialist sports teachers in whichever area interests your child. Visits to theatres, museums and galleries bring classroom learning to life and stimulate the child's imagination and sense of adventure.
Our home schooling course is simple to implement. All you need to provide is a dedicated room in your house to use as a classroom. (If this is impossible, alternative plans can be made). We provide all the materials needed and handle the paperwork and record keeping required by the Local Education Authority.
Our tutors file projected lesson plans and daily reports on-line and we send you a copy every two weeks. We can call on expert support from psychologists, learning difficulty specialists and doctors to ensure that the best possible program is being implemented, allowing for the particular needs of each child. When the time is right, we will help organize re-entry to the school system or provide help and guidance for the next step.
